Border crossing is managed by your customs broker. If you are moving your machine between countries you must use a customs broker to enable passage through the border.
A customs broker is not optional for items above $800USD value[a]. If you fail to arrange passage or any documents are missing your items will be turned around and either returned to us, or stored until they can be cleared with your broker.

How do I setup brokerage for a shipment?
We recommend getting in contact with A&A Customs Contract Brokers (1-800-663-4270) and inform them about setting up an account. You will be required to provide your personal/business information along with payment details. Once your account is setup, the following documents must be completed and forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org:
It is important to have all documents completed and cleared by A&A prior to shipping to avoid delays and additional charges. Once your brokerage is cleared, you must send us your commercial invoice to email@example.com. Freight carriers will refuse to take the items if they do not have this.
Can you arrange brokerage for me?
Yes, our trained staff are able to set up brokerage for any items crossing the border. You must pay the import duty directly to us, which we will clarify in writing, along with any additional administrative fees. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
What does it cost?
Each broker charges different fees, depending on the size, value & manufactured location of the unit. Typically the costs will include:
