CMG 45-Day Warranty

The CMG 45-day warranty is designed to provide purchasers with peace of mind that the used item being purchased is in operating condition.

Warranty Guidelines

  • Coverage Scope & Exclusions: The policy covers general operating functions, including malfunctions not detailed, noted, or explained prior to purchase. Excludes small tools and individual items priced at $200 and under. For eBay purchases, please call +1 604 556 2225 for specific warranty information.
  • Freight & Self-Transport: Damage from freight carriers must be claimed on their insurance policy. Please inspect all deliveries prior to offloading from the truck and note damagaes on the way bill. If you transport the item yourself, photo documentation ofthe shipment before and after transport must be provided.
  • Installation & Qualification Requirements: Any machinery hooked up or installed by an unqualified person voids coverage. Qualified persons are defined as industry mechanics, millwrights, and certified technicians experienced in machinery setup, assembly, connection, and operation. An electrician who installs wiring is not is not considered qualified.
  • What Is Covered: Operation of motors, switches, wiring, pneumatics, and general machine functions.
  • What Is Not Covered: Tooling, wearable belts, rollers, computers, machine alignment, throughput, or production volume.
  • Parts Coverage & Reimbursement: CMG covers replacement parts, not labor, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. CMG will attempt to provide used parts or source aftermarket parts before attempting to order OEM parts. Although CMG may source the part, any required part must be ordered directly by the customer, with a copy of the purchase receipt submitted to CMG for reimbursement. This gives you direct control over shipment speed and additional parts warranty coverage.
  • Wear & Environmental Exclusions: Parts that have reached the end of their normal life expectancy are not covered. CMG will not cover damage or failure due to operator error or insufficient facility power, air, or dust supply.
  • Limitation of Liability: Coast Machinery Group is not liable for, and will not accept, any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages of any kind. CMG will not be held liable for loss of production or business interruption resulting from machine performance or lack thereof.
