The Cehisa EP8 Edgebander is constructed to a high standard and built on a solid welded steel chasis.
The EP8 has front & rear end trim and a top & bottom trimming station as well as the addition of a buffing unit.
This machine can apply coil material up to 3mm and strip fed materials up to 5mm.
  • High precision double end saws (single motor) running on a diagonal axis
  • Top and bottom radius trimmers driven by induction motor, unlike carbon brush motors which are more susceptible to burn out
  • Machine fitted with twin head buffing station to remove any discolouration that may appear on the finished edge
  • Extendable panel support via linear bearings
  • Panel feed track is caterpillar style with dual rubber rollers to eliminate any marking of the finished panel
  • All working units are well spaced and easily accessible so that cleaning and adjustment is simple and effortless
  • Maximum edge tape thickness of 3mm PVC
  • Maximum solid timber lippings to 5mm
  • Automatic tape feed, i.e: melamine, PVC, ABS, veneer and laminate
  • Quick-melt glue pot with 10-15 minute heat up time
  • Electronic heat control with digital LED read out for maximum temperature, security temperature and idle temperature
  • Simple manual adjustment of pressure beam with digital siko read out of panel thickness
  • Full cabinet protection to minimise sound and improve extraction effectiveness
  • 10 metres per minute feed speed.
